Obby, TechCommunity student Affirms

The program ODV is okay (Good) and I like the way the ODV trainers teach.
The one I like most is Microsoft Excel among other package we have been taught. I have identified Column and Rows and how to enter data into cells.
I can also do some calculations in Microsoft Excel packages.

Having gone through four packages at the Owerri Digital Village Digital Village: Computer fundamentals, Word Processing fundamentals, Microsoft Excel fundamentals, Spreadsheet and Database fundamentals, I have fallen in love with Microsoft Access. But that is not to say that the other packages are not worth while.

About ODV:
ODV Staff are student friendly and I believe they have the stuff. Kudos to Aunty Mau Mau.

NigComSat-1 and its Benefits

It is no longer news that Nigeria has lunched its Communication Satellite; NigComSat-1. But the benefits accruable to the country deserve to be mentioned. Among the numerous benefits are:
· A drastic reduction in communication tariff across the country and Africa in general.
· Economic and technological emancipation- the sale of its transponders would earn Nigeria N270 billion in 15 years.
· The much needed technology transfer to Nigerians and a host of others.
However, do you think that there is any thing like Technology Transfer? Post your comment urgently.
